Our Pastor

Rev. Ronald D. Glass

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ronald D. Glass was born in Jackson, MS in 1956 to Ronald and Kathryn Glass.  Pastor Glass accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 12, and at age 17 responded to God’s call to serve as a full-time minister.

His college training for ministry included two years at Circleville Bible College (OH) and three years at Toccoa Falls College (GA), where he graduated in 1979, receiving a B.A. in Theology with a minor in Pastoral Ministries.

Pastor Ron’s wife, Cynthia (Cyndi) R. Glass, was born in Toccoa, GA to Dr. & Mrs. Logan T. Richter, an Alliance pastor’s family who have served in ministry for over 40 years.  It was at Toccoa Falls College that Ron and Cyndi met; they were married on Groundhog Day 1980.  The Lord has blessed the Glass family with five children (Jonathan, Jennifer, Joanna, Jillian, Joy) and many grandchildren.

Pastor Ron has pastored churches in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina since 1980; and since October 2005 he has been senior pastor of the former First Alliance Church in Hendersonville, now known as Living Hope Community Church. He has also served in leadership with the Alliance South District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance.  Besides ministry, Pastor Ron loves farming, gardening, fishing, hunting and woodworking.  The whole Glass family enjoys music, both vocal and instrumental.
